Protection from the Sunlight

As much as we need the sunlight to live our daily lives,
ultraviolet rays (UV) can be quite harmful to the eyes.
If we don’t protect our eye sight from these harmful rays,
it will create lasting damages that will never return to normalcy.

Wearing sunglasses best protects your eyes from the harmful ultraviolet rays (UV).
Find ones that are wide enough to cover the sides of your face.
A hat or visor will help block out more sunlight.
Even double sun-glass lenses can help direct the rays elsewhere.

Protection from Computer Light waves

Take a break from looking at your computer every so often.
For every 2 hours of computer work,
looking away for at least 15 minutes is a good rule of thumb,
or even walk away from your computer for at least 20 minutes.
Make sure you have plenty of light when working, reading or
sitting in front of your computer.
Whether it’s in front of a TV or monitor,
make sure to have a good amount of distance and leveling.
Prolonged viewing of a screen or monitor
may create stress or strain on your eyes.
Blinking your eyes from time to time or finding a lens that

that help you put less strain on them.
Try to create a clean, dust free environment.
Use a humidifier to help adjust moisture and room temperatures.
Every little bit helps.
